I would like to respectfully ask you to consider helping me recover my original nickname, Vizcachita.
I previously played Turtle WoW under this name for a long time. Vizcachita was not just a random character name for me — it was the name by which I was known throughout the community. I built my entire character and reputation around it, particularly as a Warrior.
During my time on Turtle WoW, I became a very recognizable player and was especially well known among the Warrior community. I invested a huge amount of time into the character, raiding, improving my gameplay and participating actively in the community. For me, Vizcachita became part of my identity as a player.
I am aware that the name currently appears to have been taken or reserved on Octo WoW. I can understand if this was done intentionally to prevent impersonation or someone from using my old identity in a malicious way. If that was the intention, I appreciate the effort to protect players from impersonation.
However, given the history of the name and how strongly it was associated with me, I would sincerely appreciate it if the staff could review my situation and consider returning the nickname to me.
I have attached several screenshots and pieces of evidence from my time on Turtle WoW. These show my Warrior, my use of the name Vizcachita, and my activity and presence within the community. I hope the evidence makes it clear that I am not simply trying to claim a name that I recently decided I wanted — I am trying to recover a name that I had already established and was known by.
I also currently own the character Vizcacha on Octo WoW. While it is obviously a different name, it is another part of the same identity I have continued using since Turtle WoW.
There is also something about the situation that concerns me. Considering how recognizable the name Vizcachita was within the Turtle WoW community, I have some suspicion that the name may have been deliberately taken or reserved specifically so that I would not be able to use it again.
I want to be clear that I am not accusing any particular player, because I cannot know their intentions with certainty. I simply find the circumstances suspicious enough that I believe it is worth mentioning when asking the staff to investigate the situation.
I completely understand that Octo WoW has its own naming rules and that the final decision is entirely up to the staff. I am not demanding that an exception be made for me. I am simply asking for my case to be reviewed based on the history of the name and the evidence I can provide.
If there is any way for the staff to verify the history of the name, previous ownership, or the circumstances under which Vizcachita was reserved on Octo WoW, I would greatly appreciate it.
I spent a long time building my character and reputation under the name Vizcachita, and it would genuinely mean a lot to me to be able to use that name again on Octo WoW.
