So yeah, this happened to me again and honestly I’m getting pretty tired of it.

I lost another character because of DDoS, lag, disconnects and other server problems. I usually don’t bother making posts about it, but this has happened way too many times now.

I already deleted a lot of my old characters because of stuff like this. I’ve probably deleted lvl20+ characters over time because of lag or other server-side problems. I’m not asking for all of those characters back or anything like that. I’m just asking about this one.

Before my character died, I had some really bad lag again. I have screenshots, videos and chat logs, and my friends also have stuff showing what was happening.

The annoying part is also trying to get in contact with a GM. Most of the time they’re offline, or they answer me when I’m already dead. And when you’re a ghost, you can’t even properly use your mail.

I understand that DDoS attacks and server problems aren’t always something the GMs can control. I’m not trying to blame them for that. I just think there should be some kind of way to deal with situations where a player clearly dies because of server issues.

I’ve seen people get revived pretty quickly before, while I’ve had to wait days because I was put on low priority. That’s honestly pretty frustrating when you just lost a character because of something you couldn’t control i deleted my chars before they got rev after they go rev i had other char we have work so i cant w8 days.

The server seems to be doing better now, which is good, but I still had some serious lag right before this death.

So I’m posting this here instead of just making another ticket.

I’d really appreciate it if this character could be revived, but more than that, I’d like to see some better way of handling these situations in the future.
ps. i deleted all my chars because of Ddos attacks lags etc now this time i understand it was only lag and it was my fault but maybe this time can my char get rev? everytime i try to connect with GM he mails me as ghost i cant open mail ...

We are unable to review deaths privately through GM tickets unless the character is under level 20 and died to a server wide issue such as a DDoS.

Also we have a fix to allow ghosts to read mail (no item/gold transfer) for the next restart.

if you dont like dying to lag dont play HC. they actually encourage players to not play during times of instability of server. if you have a list of characters that you have died on... maybe its not the server or HC isnt for you.. even if its the servers fault that is the name of the game you're playing with hardcore.

so thing is what i do i do proffesions first before hitting levels i like to max proffesions so i am not getting revived beacuse of that? thing i alraedy lost couple of chars beacuse of ddosing and lags i understand that's not octowows fault , if its possible revive my 17level ( horde ) WiseShaman will be nice <3

Absolutely understand you. Usually I start profs at 5 and prefer to focus on it, not on leveling. I MUST have 150 BS/LW at 16-18 lvl or it's cursed toon and I don't love him anymore. But at current situation, yeah, need to change gameplay for lvling at least for reaching 20 lvl. So after it we can block exp, start recording and going to finally lvling profs.
