Death During DDoS

Hello OctoWoW Support Team,

I would like to ask for your help regarding the death of my Hardcore character.

Character Name: Fariborz
Level: 14
Faction: Alliance
Date: September 19, 2026
Approximate time: 18:00 UTC

I understand that the normal Death Appeal system requires the character to be level 20 or higher. However, I am contacting you because I believe this death may have occurred during the recent server-wide DDoS/connection issues.

I had been playing Fariborz for approximately 9 hours before this incident. During that entire time, my internet connection was completely stable. I did not experience any lag, disconnects, or connection problems at all.

Then, suddenly, I was disconnected from the server. I tried several times to reconnect, but I was unable to get back into the game for several minutes.

When I finally managed to reconnect, I discovered that Fariborz had died while I was disconnected.

After reconnecting, I also noticed that several other Hardcore players had died around the same time. Because this happened during the server connection issues, I believe it is possible that my character’s death was related to the DDoS/server-side incident.

Unfortunately, I do not have a video recording or screenshots of the incident. The disconnect happened unexpectedly, and I had no reason to believe that I needed to record my gameplay beforehand.

I completely understand the Hardcore rules and that legitimate deaths should normally remain permanent. However, given the circumstances, I kindly ask you to check the server logs around 18:00 UTC on September 19, 2026 and investigate what happened to my character.

If the logs confirm that my character died because of the server-side connection issues, I would greatly appreciate it if you could consider restoring Fariborz.

Thank you very much for taking the time to investigate my case.
