Virus? The future?

Hello there, I came to check...

Is this site safe? It has a future? Can you tell us why we can trust in you?

Some people says this is a scam.

I am guessing that there are much much easier ways to scam people  . As for the future of the site we hope to never go down, but also have the system of redundancy we mentioned in the announcement to ensure that does not happen for more than a few days max.

Why should you trust us? You shouldn't we are strangers on the internet, we don't even trust each other with our identifies! Protect yourself in any way that you see fit. At the end of the day, you don't need to trust the team behind this, just the server and community itself. I think that is one of the many things that make this project special.
Sincerely,

You have a point...

Hey, give people hype...

So, your plan is first, rebuild the 1.18.1 and then take all the leaks of TWoW and retake the path?

First of all: "You shouldn't we are strangers on the internet" and that means you shouldn't trust me, either.

That being said, I've run every file that's come from octowow through malwarebytes, and it all seems normal. there was one flag I did get, but another user got it for the "wow 1.12.1 client" back in june (iirc) 2024. It's probably just the same false positive that the official twow client had at the time.

I've downloaded the wow scraper tool they created, and if anything's gonna steal your login info, it's a tool like that, but the packets seemed to only pull from my IP and twow's IP. If it were stealing email creds, then i'd see other IPs on it.

It passes my personal sniff test for now, but that doesn't mean I can't miss things, it doesn't mean things will be different in the future, and it doesn't mean you can trust me to begin with. Stay safe and use password managers.
