I'd like a clarifciation or some more information about why people call this server a "scam"

Heard people from other servers, and other forums say that this game is a "Scam" and a "Phishing attempt" That the files contain Trojans ETC.

I know when i installed Turtle wow many years ago, they said the same thing. I just want to know Why they say this, are there any truth to it? Could a game master ease our minds about this? I have a lot of friends from Twow that wants to join the server but never dared to join due to the rumors about Viruses and phishing. i just want a clarification or proof to show them.

I'm not a GM. I have played the server however.

I've witnessed the GMs take issues with the server seriously and work around the clock to fix them and that's it.

Something you need to understand about the Private server community?
They're R-Tarded doomsayers who believe every little moronic thought that enters their stupid little heads.

The only thing on OctoWoW that triggers a warning is the mod for Vanilla Fix. It triggers a Trojan warning.

I asked about this.
Windows Defender treats all Injection Software as a Trojan and that's what the Vanillafix mod is.

I agree, the devs seems extremly dedicated and proffesional. I dont think this is a scam by any reason, ive played here the last days and LOVED it. I just want more info so i can tell people its safe. its okay to come here, try it out.
