Ban mistake! Help ME PLS!

"Hello. I logged in to the game, and they said my account was blocked. (permanent ban). Can I know the reason? I've never broken the rules. This is some kind of error. (my character is level 60 immortal). For some reason, I got a wrong ban. Please help me! Maybe my account was hacked? I take the game seriously. I know GM Halo and Valette. I've been playing on this project since 2022. Have I been hacked? GM replied to me that it was a RMT. Write a request on the forum. This is some kind of error. I put the item up for auction ( Recipe Flask of the Titans — 3% chance drop from UBRS ) for 1100 gold. Maybe the system banned me because of this? Please help me!"

You got 1162g from the AH and you don't even remember what you sold? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't the flask recipe. Do you really think we can't see AH sales...? God gold buyers are fucking stupid. Idk why other servers don't shut this down.

I was talking about my most recent sale. Before that, I had sold two other items for 1,100 gold. What is the reason? Did I violate any rules?

Yeah you violated the rules by paying someone with real life money to buy incredibly overpriced items on the AH in an attempt to mask the sale of in game gold for real life currency. Please either make a new account or play on a new server.

I didn't say that I sold the recipe. I posted it yesterday and thought it was bought. I can't log in to the game to check. I also posted 2 items at a really high price (people buy it by mistake or if they want to). Any idiot can buy it at a high price. I posted it, and it was bought. Should I get a permanent ban for this? I didn't break any rules.

I didn't know that you can't sell items at inflated prices. If this is indeed the case, how can I delete my account to free up my username?

Just curious about this because I can see how there might be some crossover. I'm not saying this is OP's situation at all, by a metric mile, but can see someone trying this and perhaps receiving a ban innocently.

In Classic, it was common for people to list regular common items (especially if it was a bulk buy gathering item for leveling profs) with an inflated price to catch someone off-guard just bulk buying and they accidentally purchase a stack of Copper Ore (for example) for 250g (for example).

If this were to happen on this server, is it grounds for receiving a ban just because an overpriced item was purchased without any other outstanding evidence?

Again, I'm not trying to portray OP as innocent or that your judgement here isn't correct. This feels like it would basically set a precedent like, you just get banned for listing overpriced items and someone buys them, regardless of the context.

While I do feel that those who engage in this practice should be banned that is a different conversation and we are not doing that right now

We are additional signals here that indicate it was a gold sale it is not only that the item was bought overpriced.
