Re: Low level profession things

These are great ideas, I know someone else was suggesting extra crafted shields for black smithing which I think is also a great idea.

There are a lot of under utilized mats I'd love to see get used more. Firefin snappers being one that comes to mind.

Re: Dual STV fishing event

I love this idea, the fishing event can be difficult to do depending on where you are in the world, one extra time slot would help many out in making it more accessible.

World Buffs Across All Capital Cities

I have no idea if this is even possible.

It would be really cool to have the respective World Buffs go out across the capital city of each faction. Not just Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Let the denizens of Ironforge, Darnassus, Underctiy, and Thunderbluff also benefit from the world buffs. This will ...

Re: Prog VS Full Release

The server is live, nothing is being wiped from the game, content isn't being rolled back from when they go from beta to live.

I think we're getting everything as it was on Twow when it shut down is the goal. We aren't progressing through phases, they aren't resetting massive server events like AQ ...

There are other preservation projects ongoing that are working on rebuilding the server and open sourcing it all. The octo team is working with them and sharing information as far as I'm aware.

Re: Working summoning stones

That's a big no from me. Wow doesn't need summoning stones. Twow never implemented them and for food reason.

Re: Conjure "Holy Water" for Priests

I didn't know that Epoch did this. That's a lot of fun. I think it would be amazing if you got the final version of the book as a drop from live Strath probably.

Re: Please Reconsider the Rogue Changes in 1.18

I support these notes. Rogue gearing at a high level takes serious amounts of game knowledge, a ludicrous amount of time, and lots of luck.

I think what's incredibly important to highlight here is that the changes in question aren't value based but mechanical in nature. Changing how a high level ...

Re: Installing it on Linux

I was able to install and get the game running using Lutris and the direct game client.

1. Download the client.
2. Add locally installed game in Lutris.
3. Select Wine for the game runtime.
4. Set the version to proton 8.0 or 9.0. (The most recent versions of proton did not work for me.)
