You should have seen how expensive spells were in early EverQuest.

I always felt this was one of the most poorly designed parts of Turtle WoW.

You basically can't get this item unless you bot it, which should be against the rules. Last I checked the same guy was standing there for like 3 days straight, that's clearly not legitimate gameplay.

unfortunately shamans were never supposed to be able to tank. just because they can wear a shield and earth shock generates high threat doesnt mean they should actuall consider tanking. i think the shield thing is just flavor, not an actual signal to go tank


This is both wrong and irrelevant ...

Bright Dream Shards cost 2g 1s 75c each in deposit for a 72 hour auction. Is this correct? My Aux addon says it should cost 90 silver (it's an updated version for Turtle WoW).

I've heard other people complain that some other deposits are strangely high too.

My perspective as someone who played Ret on Nordanaar:

"Default" Ret is... okay. It doesn't compete that well against other DPS classes and in my experience it was hard to find dungeon groups while leveling.

When I joined a raid guild it took a lot of effort just to provide mediocre middle-of-the ...

It's actually insane that by far the best trinket in the game is obtained from a lowly Kara10, a dungeon that is hardly more difficult than UBRS. It throws the balance of the game out the window.

One of the best swords is from MC.

It's actually good to have loot like this in the lower tier ...

When was "last patch"? The most recent patch listed in Announcements (https://octowow.st/forum/viewforum.php?f=2) was from June 3rd.

Pointless post without mentioning what was said that got them demoted.
