Second this, there should be zero-tolerance for this kind of thing, and specially this being the first example of this happening they shouldn't go light on it.Cryptyy wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2026 11:56 pm If you don't permanently ban people involved in this it will absolutely destroy any credibility you hope to have, Most players would take a week vacation to get a full hand of rag, Its unacceptable to only receive a week long ban. Do not become a server where it's ok for GM's to spawn in items at will for players. Also you need to ensure you can absolutely trust a GM before giving them absolute access to these types of commands.
No player is getting a Hand of Rag in exchange for a week long ban. As previously stated, there was never the possibility of this going unnoticed. This is not a server where it is ok for GM's to spawn in items at will for players I am not sure where you got this idea from given the GM was immediately removed, items deleted, and player banned.Cryptyy wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2026 11:56 pm If you don't permanently ban people involved in this it will absolutely destroy any credibility you hope to have, Most players would take a week vacation to get a full hand of rag, Its unacceptable to only receive a week long ban. I agree. <3 glad you are having a good time on the server.Computer wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2026 11:52 pm Kestrel,
It's refreshing to see the level of transparency and information about what happened. Huge props for that. However, when it comes to the abuse of GM powers, i.e item/gold spawning or collusion, a zero tolerance policy should be adopted.
I would like to be hopeful that this incident has shown that the actions of GMs won't go unnoticed, and I am huffing hopium that this demonstration of how you guys are logging this stuff prevents another incident in the future.
However, due to the severity of the incident and the reputational risk involved, I believe the best course of action is to permanently close the associated account.
Players like this are parasites and a stain on the community, and the team should take a firm stance against such behavior. A week long ban is a vacation, lost items can be regained. But a permanently banned account means starting from zero and sends a much stronger message.
Just my two cents.
I'm loving my time here and the hard work the team has done so far with restoration efforts, and I'm excited to see more.

We had considered a trial period for GM's before, and will likely have one in the future (expedited now) when our processes and systems are a bit more robust. This will not be an overnight fix though as it will require restructuring GM ranks/commands and testing.Witchysofia wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2026 11:59 pmSecond this, there should be zero-tolerance for this kind of thing, and specially this being the first example of this happening they shouldn't go light on it.Cryptyy wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2026 11:56 pm If you don't permanently ban people involved in this it will absolutely destroy any credibility you hope to have, Most players would take a week vacation to get a full hand of rag, Its unacceptable to only receive a week long ban. And yeah, I don't think GMs that just joined should be able to spawn-in gold and items...

How do u give an item to player without him knowing it was given by a GM?Kestrel wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2026 11:24 pmThe other items were given in such a way that we don't believe the players receiving them had any ill intent or even requested the items. In light of this and the potential reputational damage it could cause them, given this was ultimately my failure (I onboarded this GM), we do not want to subject them to the same public repercussions as Meatgrinder.Russ1anrenegade wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2026 11:09 pm Who got the other items Kestral the interaction needs to be made public for the Zebra & Ironfoe.
