I don't know if it pulls in real money or in-game material, but when you subcribe to a bot, it drops a guild invite hint, a discord link, and a nudge nudge wink wink to donate. It's not quite so altruistic as Mr. Suspiciously Quiet over there is trying to make it seem.

Yeah making money with AI and a bot is awfully disrespectful, and i didn't like the random jokes on /s chat (They seems to have stopped as the 26/09. I cannot find the donation stuff tho so I guess they have been warned

They definitely crossed a line with the 2 bots gossiping in the middle of SW. The location is perfectly annoying enough to cover all the popular conversation spots in SW (the benches, the fountain, the AH, basically anywhere near the square). I go afk for a few moments in SW, and my entire /say history is just two bots listing scripted conversations like they're Lorewalker Cho.

I really hate seeing the bot accounts sitting in SW all day. Forcing automated messages on everyone while there are addons for the same thing is tasteless and ruins the human aspect of the game.

I'd also like to know if that type of bot will just be allowed to exist and we'll have "community" bots populate other places too.
