I was on the whitelist, had no trouble logging in for the past couple weeks.
Now im checking if im still on the whitelist, and now this doesnt seems to be the case.

Cant log in, my patience with this server is running out.

The game is being DDoSed. The game is slow. The forums are performing well.

Perhaps you could use the metadata coming from the forums as an indicator of which accounts care about connectivity?

Virus scanner blocks the outgoing IP to your IP address. Please get a reputable IP so common virus scanners are not flagged by it. Currently, I have been unable to play for a long time due to being stuck at connecting... When I do connect the virus scanner blocks suspicious IPs. It did not do this before. Please fix your sketchy IPs.

I keep getting kicked from the server every 15–30 seconds. This has been happening for a while now. Is this normal?

Could you add my IP to the whitelist???????????????????????????? My request has been pending for two days now.

The whitelist thing was for a specific issue, it would only help you if you weren't able to connect whatsoever. They also put out an announcement here regarding it saying that they aren't responding to requests for it.

Also for whatever it's worth, I'm able to connect without issues and I'm not on the whitelist or using VPNs. There's a section under account management that shows your whitelist status. Only saying that because I don't want people thinking they need to be on the whitelist in order to connect etc etc.

As of now OctoWoW service is being DDOSed and no whitelist will help as the service is overwhelm/down with DDOS traffic.
For my experiences, I never request to whitelist my IP and able to connect after few try when the service is working as normal and not being DDOSed.

just solved all of my issues by setting my IPV4 DNS IP to cloudflare (tutorials on internet)... couldnt play normally for past few days and this changed everything. Might not be your reason why u cant play, but worth try it. Also its best manual DNS server anyway, so just use it even if it doesnt work for wow.

steps to Change DNS Settings
• Open the Start menu, type Control Panel, and press Enter.
• Click on Network and Internet, then go to Network and Sharing Center.
• Click Change adapter settings on the left menu.
• Right-click your active connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and select Properties.
• Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
• Select Use the following DNS server addresses.
• Enter Cloudflare's IPv4 address numbers:
• Preferred DNS server: 1.1.1.1
• Alternate DNS server: 1.0.0.1

This site is wildly inaccurate. The servers been up all day, I've been on for most of the day.

It says there has been a 63% uptime over the past six hours. I've been online. So have thousands of people.

Yeah I'm looking through the info it has listed as it keeps records of past days and it's absolutely nonsense. I haven't had a single connection issue in over a week and it's consistently saying that the server has been down during times where I've been online. And to be clear I'm not on the whitelist, and I'm not using VPNs or doing anything fancy to connect.

I haven't had a connection issue since 24th of September, and the server is always at 2,000-3,000 people when I log in.

How are so many people in this comments still having issues? Surely at that point it's an user error, rather than the server's fault.

Not quite, I think some still have issues with authenticator server, I struggled with it for a few days while most of the realm was playing normally.
