Multiboxing
Multiboxing is the act of running multiple WoW clients simultaneously (whether through a third party program, or manually switching yourself between clients). This can entail having multiple clients open on a single computer, or utilizing multiple computers.
On C'Thun & N'Zoth we permit Multiboxing with the following constraints and exceptions:
It is forbidden to multibox using any third-party software to assist in controlling the additional characters, or any other methods which allow you to synchronize your characters.
It is forbidden to multibox more than 2 accounts (2 characters) within the same map zone (Elwynn Forest, Wetlands, Mulgore, The Barrens are all examples of map zones). There are no limits on account/character count in Capital Cities.
It is forbidden to multibox (in the same zone/area) if either character is participating in Challenges such as Hardcore, Slow & Steady, Boaring Adventure, Traveling Craftmaster, Vagrant's Endeavor, Path of the Brewmaster, Trial of Heroism. The only exception is characters being in Capital Cities (Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, Ironforge, Darnassus, Alah'thalas) for the purpose of trading, professions, teleporting, crafting, and other interactions strictly between the multiboxed characters.
It is forbidden to multibox with characters in the same zone if either character is flagged for PvP (including Warmode) even if you are not actively in PvP combat. On Y'Shaarj, you may multibox for non-combat related activities such as warlock summoning or trading, if you are attacked or ganked while multiboxing, you are not permitted to pilot more than one of these characters at a time that is a risk you take.
It is forbidden to multibox if either character is in a battleground.
It is forbidden to multibox in LFT groupfinder parties.
It is permitted anywhere (including the same zone) to use no more than 3 accounts/3 characters exclusively for the purpose of Summoning Rituals.
It is permitted anywhere to multibox as long as the above restrictions are not violated.
Characters found to be in violation of these rules are subject to being locked.
It is not clear if i am allowed to doublebox for pve inside dungeons. I had no problems with that on Tel'Abim and I never doubleboxed same zone exept SW
