a) overhauled Goldshire.
The Butchering of Goldshire is one of the few things from Epoch that can stay forgoten.
Cool idea, but we don't need to re-imagine an area of Vanilla that was already good as it is.
More adding new content, less "cataclysming" content that is already there.

b) small profession quests here and there.
The "Commision" concept is really good, especially since they tried to tie them with actual story reasons for the NPC to want these commisions fullfilled.
Good, gives you a great reason to level your profesions as you level your character.
But that's not the type of content I had in mind.

c) Dungeon: Stonetalon Caverns
Cool idea, but that's all it is, an idea. That dungeon does not exist, so Octo devs cannot "borrow" it.
and for the Cart System. Octo doesn't need that either. Not only is the Cataclysm model really ugly for a Classic+ server, it just cheapens the starting zones. Turtle had a much better solution with the lendable mounts.
We don't need the carts (especially since they're ugly), the 'problem' was solved in a more elegant way by the Turtle devs.
"Borrowing" map upgrades is the easier part, rather than scripting npcs and game systems.
Another good example of Epoch's wonderful map upgrades is the coast of Blasted Lands, the Upper Wetlands (even tho Turtle already has the Hawks fortress there, but honestly the Epoch's version is much better), or the Horde village in Tanaris. The Octo devs can then populate the areas with NPCs and Systems they feel fit the server the best.
And if we're talking about "borrowing" game system, I would love to see the Low Level World Boss system.
Such a fun to gather a raid of lvl 40s to take down a lvl 45 Gorilla in STV.
