Oh darling, you're on the wrong server for that kinda preference. Blizz servers with purchasable boosts might be more your thing.Winstonss22 wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2026 5:37 pm leveling is a pointless content and u made it harder. ye ye

These weekly raiding boxes where one of the few idiotic decisions made by Turtle WoW and I'm glad these are not on these server.Forky8 wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2026 5:43 am I dotn think the lasher nerf is good it just makes raiding consumes more expansive and the ah gets manipulated all the time no thats also gonna be worse. in turtel they implemented the weekly raiding quest to combat the raid consume pricesl. so i think it would be better to wait with the lasher nerf untill u also implement the weekly raiding quest.
making raiding more expanisice just isnt fun
Simply to appease and respect the PVP players opinions and feedback to the core and fundamental differences between the PVE and PVP server. This BG XP nerf is clearly unpopular on the PVP server and we STILL don't have a poll for 2xp which would clearly show how many people are in favor of it on the PVP server.Berdal wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2026 10:15 am What to you expect from a starting server that is in beta and still figuring things out. Geez
"Everything being expensive" is only a matter of gold generation/accumulation in the player base and gold spending over time. Gold spending would be people quitting, repair costs, HC deaths (not transfers), buying stuff from vendor, learning abilities/skills, etc. In case of gold inflation, there are simple practical steps the devs can do to suck out gold from the economy again. Also, keeping RMT gold farmers away helps immensely.Lane157 wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2026 11:18 am Having affordable consumables is a very good thing. Otherwise you end up with the same situation as Blizzard servers in which everything is expensive. Flasks are still expensive and very much needed for harder raids anyway so there's that.
Yeah, no weekly quests please.Zvyrhol wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2026 11:31 am These weekly raiding boxes where one of the few idiotic decisions made by Turtle WoW and I'm glad these are not on these server.
Not only they made some consumables unprofitable to craft bringing them to vendor price but also they brought anti-vanilla design to the game. Because so far in Vanilla all trade goods used to craft consumables were gathered from world (herb nodes or mob drops). These boxes made the world irrelevant and broke immersion because you could get every consumable from box from one guy in Orgrimmar/Stormwind. It made no sense.
Speaking of real problems, when are you going to address the balancing and rework of PvP gear? Don't tell me this isn't your priority, because it's a major problem right now. Dampening is a joke; the current PvP gear is absolutely not enough on its own to be viable. Shaman tanks and BM Hunters are WAY too strong compared to other classes.Kestrel wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2026 5:19 am Beckett has been put in forum timeout for a second time (for the same thing), the third time will be a permanent forum ban. Do not throw around crazy and serious accusations without evidence. It not only is harmful to the community as a whole, but it also cheapens and makes light of genuine issues.
I did mention that somewhere in either this thread or deep in another, but this thread is a mess.Serabs wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2026 1:31 pmSpeaking of real problems, when are you going to address the balancing and rework of PvP gear? The current PvP is turning a lot of players off. If you don't do something about these issues soon, you'll lose players.
And on that note, you can't say you don't know how to solve these problems, because there are plenty of sources of inspiration featuring PvP and PvP content. Like Epoch, for example.
So when can we expect a PvP rework and balance adjustments?

Dampening has some issues and we plan to rework either the dampening gear balance, or that mechanic entirely. In terms of the current PvP gear that is available, reworking that to be more desirable is much lower on the priority list.
Classic (and Turtle) PvP had its balancing issues and I have no doubt things are unbalanced right now. Balancing things is more than just tweaking a few numbers, it will take research, thought, and testing that we are excited to do someday.
It is also a never ending battle and we cannot yet start that battle in earnest with how fast we are moving. I of course understand that could be an issue for many and don't hold it against them if that is a deal breaker.
It has been said a few times over firesides and in posts, but balancing in general is not something we will be looking at until all restoration is complete and we are stable, clear of technical debt, and have the critical internal tooling that we need. The last thing we need is to derail server development getting bogged down balancing problems other developers created.
