Directly from the rules. WSG jumps aren't safespotting as any character model can do them and they require no consumables, spells or any form of wall-climbing which is the act of finding small "ledges" by using jump and then forward not forward and then jump.Safespotting is the act of PvPing from an advantageous position that cannot be reached through regular jumping or walking. If you got to the position by using a spell, consumable, wall climbing, or other unintended means, it is likely safespotting.
WSG jumps are all forward jumps ; none of them are wall-climbing and all the spots in WSG can be reached from multiple other sides that don't require anything but walking — they can all be reached through regular walking if coming from above.
What's not allowed is being in a place that cannot be reached — not reaching a place faster because you've honed a skill that anyone can learn. Punishing people for being better at the game?
According to Rook we should fight Thaddius from under his platform and should fight Gluth from inside the tube since jumping isn't allowed ; Rook has "warned" several players. These players have already complained about it in discord and in guild forums.
Why is Rook, with obviously no knowledge of PvP mechanics, a GM on the PvP server and why is he allowing himself to warn players over his very special interpretation of a very clear ruleset?
Only PvP knowledgeable GM's for PvP server! If a GM doesn't know the difference between a jump and wall-climbing he shouldn't be moderating
