Oh darling, you're on the wrong server for that kinda preference. Blizz servers with purchasable boosts might be more your thing.

Agree with other posters on this tread that lasher drop rate nerf seems overdone, i am relatively sure it was never this low on Turtle. Even if it was it seems a mistake to me in the long term. Aboard with a small nerf to increase herb prices a bit but this is over the top.

I don't do lasher farm in DME because I find that kind of farming boring (also the fact that it's almost required to level low level hunter pets is a problem but that's another topic).

However, there's no point in nerfing it. There's a lot of other farms in the game that can be as profitable. Just leave it the way TWoW had it. We don't even have the weekly quests active yet and when we do, mats will become even more affordable.

Having affordable consumables is a very good thing. Otherwise you end up with the same situation as Blizzard servers in which everything is expensive. Flasks are still expensive and very much needed for harder raids anyway so there's that.

And all of this is coming from someone who farms his own jujus and has to use double amount of them. On another note, please lower the CD of 10 minute duration jujus (especially might) to like 10s so that I can buff my pet immediately after myself.

making raiding more expanisice just isnt fun
These weekly raiding boxes where one of the few idiotic decisions made by Turtle WoW and I'm glad these are not on these server.
Not only they made some consumables unprofitable to craft bringing them to vendor price but also they brought anti-vanilla design to the game. Because so far in Vanilla all trade goods used to craft consumables were gathered from world (herb nodes or mob drops). These boxes made the world irrelevant and broke immersion because you could get every consumable from box from one guy in Orgrimmar/Stormwind. It made no sense.

It's farmers role to farm consumables, not raiders.

Simply to appease and respect the PVP players opinions and feedback to the core and fundamental differences between the PVE and PVP server. This BG XP nerf is clearly unpopular on the PVP server and we STILL don't have a poll for 2xp which would clearly show how many people are in favor of it on the PVP server.

I've seen Kestrel mention that 2x kills low level content and my response to that would be I'd say add a 1x option for players in the PVP server.

If a new player is looking for an experience where they would like to spend more time learning about the zones/lore they have the better option to play on the PVE server. Theres plenty of more people to group up with there.

Kestrel has also critiqued Tel'Abim and sure it wasn't perfect but when it comes to the leveling experience, in my opinion, Tel'Abim by far has respected our time and desire to play as it currently stands.

If you want the pvp server to grow, pissing off the base isn't going to help anyone. I hope this helps..

"Everything being expensive" is only a matter of gold generation/accumulation in the player base and gold spending over time. Gold spending would be people quitting, repair costs, HC deaths (not transfers), buying stuff from vendor, learning abilities/skills, etc. In case of gold inflation, there are simple practical steps the devs can do to suck out gold from the economy again. Also, keeping RMT gold farmers away helps immensely.

Yeah, no weekly quests please.

Hard disagree with the comments saying the TWoW weekly quests were bad. They're pretty good. Not only they provide mats that keep prices at normal numbers (as well as mounts) but they also incentivize all players -geared, new, or old- to run dungeons and older raids that would not be run as much without them.

It just does not make sense to release them now but they should be a thing by the time Naxxramas or Karazhan 40 are released.

Speaking of real problems, when are you going to address the balancing and rework of PvP gear? Don't tell me this isn't your priority, because it's a major problem right now. Dampening is a joke; the current PvP gear is absolutely not enough on its own to be viable. Shaman tanks and BM Hunters are WAY too strong compared to other classes.

The current PvP is turning a lot of players off. If you don't do something about these issues soon, you'll lose players.

And on that note, you can't say you don't know how to solve these problems, because there are plenty of sources of inspiration featuring PvP and PvP content. Like Epoch, for example.

So when can we expect a PvP rework and balance adjustments?

I did mention that somewhere in either this thread or deep in another, but this thread is a mess.

Dampening has some issues and we plan to rework either the dampening gear balance, or that mechanic entirely. In terms of the current PvP gear that is available, reworking that to be more desirable is much lower on the priority list.

Classic (and Turtle) PvP had its balancing issues and I have no doubt things are unbalanced right now. Balancing things is more than just tweaking a few numbers, it will take research, thought, and testing that we are excited to do someday.

It is also a never ending battle and we cannot yet start that battle in earnest with how fast we are moving. I of course understand that could be an issue for many and don't hold it against them if that is a deal breaker.

It has been said a few times over firesides and in posts, but balancing in general is not something we will be looking at until all restoration is complete and we are stable, clear of technical debt, and have the critical internal tooling that we need. The last thing we need is to derail server development getting bogged down balancing problems other developers created.

So you’re basically saying you don’t give a damn about PvP, and that you don’t even play on your own server. Create a level-60 Alliance character and go run Warsong, for example, with six shamans on the other side. Then try coming back and saying that PvP balance isn’t a priority.

What’s the point of opening a PvP server if you don’t give a damn about it?

You guys are just like Turtle, wow. PvE comes before PvP. And you'll always act that way. PvP isn't treated fairly compared to PvE. I came here hoping to see some change. What a disappointment.
