Why are you ignoring literally everything else just to focus on the pants? The point of the post was to show proof that ninja looting is allowed, which the chat with the GM clearly shows to be true. You're also completely ignoring the fact that the "prot pala" queued as DPS. He was NOT TANKING the dungeon. So much text, while being passive-aggressive, just to show that you're unable to read and understand the information provided in the screenshots.

Yes you can do DPS as Prot. With spellpower gear. It's arguably better DPS and especially better for leveling in general as a Paladin than Ret is.

Have you never played Turtle / Octo? Well then stop having opinions about stuff like this.

This is exactly the problem is it not? This means that every time you want to play a dungeon, you need to explicitly tell everyone that PROT PALADINS queing as DPS should not NEED on a mail int+spell power over the holy pala (Just as an example on the context of this post. This applies to almost anything, like a warrior needing a bow over a hunter, tanks needing agility gear "because of armor", etc.) and they also have to agree to it everytime for it to work, and keep the screenshots saved everytime because otherwise gms don't care.

A healer shouldnt need on dps items, stop being a 0 iq shitter.

Talking about low IQ, yet for multiple replies, you're unable to understand that nobody cares about the pants. The whole point is that ninja looting is allowed on the server, as proven by the chat with the GM in the screenshots.

I doubt the gm would have judged the same if a clothie needed on mailpants, that we can all agree on would be ninja looting. But tank that joined as dps needed on a tank/dps pants, why again was healer so rude to need on a item designed for other specs?

Its a warrior that made the post he is freinds with the healer and mage and they all refused to continue the run after healer rudely needed on a item for not his spec and lost the roll, blacklist the whole shitter guild.

If you want to host groups where people cannot roll on upgrades you need to discuss that at the start of the run as the GM recommended. That isn't the GM saying that ninja looting is allowed because if someone was rolling need on items they cannot even use that is in fact against the rules.

Going around spending your time trying to convince people that ninja looting isn't against the rules and that as the OP said you should just roll need on everything. For anyone else wondering: I always try to be mindful of others when rolling, if it's more of an upgrade for you than it is for me, I will roll greed. If it's definitely for my current spec AND role, I will roll need.
