pfUI.events was a bare CallbackRegistry for pfUI's custom events. Build it
from ClassicAPI's EventRegistry instead, so the same object also takes game
events through RegisterFrameEventAndCallback, sharing one frame for all of
them.
Move the frames that existed only to listen for a few events onto it:
libspell, focus, pixelperfect, innervatecall, loothistory, unusable,
equipmentmanager (bank + window refresh), the actionbar grid, updatenotify,
turtle-wow's steady shot, nampower's spell queue, superwow's group tracking
and unitxp's notifications, plus newitem and mapreveal, which used the
global EventRegistry. Handlers take their payload as arguments instead of
the event/arg globals, and the per-frame PLAYER_LOGOUT teardown goes away,
since the registry unregisters its frame on logout.
Read Innervate casts from COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED instead of
Nampower's AURA_CAST events, taking the target name from the event.
Schedule the ready callout once Innervate's own cooldown appears on
SPELL_UPDATE_COOLDOWN; at cast time GetSpellCooldown reports only the GCD.
Replace nampower's GetSpellIdCooldown with C_Spell.GetSpellCooldown, and
compute the remaining time from startTime plus duration (both seconds).
Drop the presence guard, since ClassicAPI is a hard dependency. The
module still needs nampower for the AURA_CAST events.
Seven ad-hoc OnUpdate handlers were only spinning long enough to reach
a known deadline or a next-frame defer, then unhooking themselves.
Convert them to their proper primitives:
- autovendor: 0.3s wait after junk sell → C_Timer.After(0.3, ...)
- innervatecall: cooldown-expiry ready ping → C_Timer.After(cd, ...)
- focus: re-arm UI_ERROR_MESSAGE next tick → RunNextFrame
- macrotweak: conflict scan after addons load → RunNextFrame
- ui-widgets (CreateQuestionDialog): font-measure resize → RunNextFrame
- libdebuff: post-PEW Nampower init → RunNextFrame
- bubbles: WorldFrame scan after chat event → RunNextFrame
Net -18 lines and no more throwaway frames sitting on the OnUpdate list.
ClassicAPI ships modern IsInGroup() / IsInRaid() backports — drop the
GetNumPartyMembers() > 0 and GetNumRaidMembers() > 0 idioms (and the
GetNumPartyMembers() > 0 or GetNumRaidMembers() > 0 conflation) for the
named-intent variants. UnitInRaid("player") → IsInRaid() at the same
sites.
Drop the now-vestigial expansion plumbing.
- Delete modules/thirdparty-tbc.lua + its xml Include
- Strip 10 tbc-tagged CreateConfig calls in modules/gui.lua
- Drop the expansion arg from CreateConfig() signature + the disabled-
entry rendering path that depended on it
- Drop the showdisabled GUI toggle + its default
- Simplify pfUI:RegisterModule / pfUI:RegisterSkin to (name, func) only
- Strip the leading version arg ("vanilla:tbc", etc.) from all 114
Register call sites
- Delete the pfUI.expansion variable
The 30-line GUID → name resolver (manually checking player, target, then
walking raid1..40 / party1..4 for a matching UnitGUID) collapses to
calling UnitTokenFromGUID and then UnitName on the returned token.
ClassicAPI's UnitTokenFromGUID walks the same engine unit-token table
internally — same correctness, less Lua.
GetPlayerGuid stays (still used by the AURA_CAST event filter).
- This module will call in group/raid and battleground if you innervated yourself or someone else.
- The module will inform your group/raid/battleground if innervate is ready again.
