As I understand it, the author of the topic isn’t proposing any changes? Was it worth creating the topic?
If you read the first post, you would see the 'suggestion' part.
But for that you'd need to read the whole post
Please tell us who you call a hybrid. The enchantment branch contains:
+5% chance to block with a shield, +60% amount of shield block (from two talents);
+5% critical chance with weapons;
+6 shield charges that trigger from any attacks (+mana efficiency); the shield deals 420 damage(with stormstrike debuff), which is equivalent to a critical hit from 2 hand weapons against cloth armor;
+ ability to activate the shield for GCD;
+15% armor from items; +6% dodge;
+10 damage reduction from totem (for physical DPS, this is -5%...-10% damage reduction, taking into account the shaman's shield and chain mail);
debuff for +30% fire damage per hit, 100% critical frostbrand strikes, absorb shield depending on the phys damage done.And nothing prevents them from wielding a two‑handed weapon in battle.;
+10% damage with all weapons, and +10%(!!!) critical chance of shocks. This works very well with the PvP set bonus and the bonuses of the individual pieces of this set, which is more than other classes have.
Why do you need other talent branches at all, if there is an enchantment talent branch? So who are you calling a hybrid? The shaman will in any case get everything he needs in the second talent branch for a minimum of 30–31 talents and will take everything he needs. And it doesn’t matter how you shuffle the talents in the branch; the strongest attackers will simply move higher up the talent branches. In the end, you’re not actually proposing to change anything.
You’re just pointing out the tanking ability of shamans. Taking into account the talents in the 2nd branch and a few others from the 1st branch(+5% spell damage, -10% spell damage (and if they really want +100% critical strike damage for spells)), where the shaman has 15–20 talent points, and he will get them with a high probability. The shaman not only has good tanking ability but also decent damage. So I don’t understand — did the same person create this topic as the one here

What can a Holly Paladin do? He has heavy armor and a shield, and he can heal instantly.And this won’t save him from the assassination rogues . Paladin may survive better with the same number of physical enemies, but that’s not a given, because in a 1 vs 2 battle a shaman can simply quickly eliminate one enemy using their spells, while a paladin in this situation will survive longer without dealing as much damage as a shaman.
The paladin’s survivability is due to his heavy armor, while the shaman’s survivability is due to the artificially added survivability required for tanking bosses.
And it should be clear to everyone that the TW developers didn’t think about PvP when they gave the shaman 2 talent branch with so much damage and so much survivability at the same time.
