Blacklist people for a dispute over some lvl 30 loot? Do you go nuclear every time disagrees with your point of view?

Its not about the pants but how toxic they got for losing a roll on loot and tried frame someone for ninja looting+ false claims.

The thing is, I actually agree with you about the pants. I do disagree with this immediate blacklist mentality, which I have also seen on Discord.

We do not have to "blacklist" someone because they make one mistake or because we disagree with them on one issue. I think the OP can clearly see by now that not everyone agrees with their point of view. The world is polarized enough as it is, we do not need to bring that into our playground, the place where we are supposed to have fun.

And its also about people in general. The OP might genuinely believe that this was ninja looting; they may honestly believe that to be a fact. You disagree, I disagree, and then hopefully they learn from the discussion and handle things differently next time.

If you see the same kind of post again and again from the same person, then by all means...

A side note is that I wish that forums where moderated, because I find the title of the post to be just plain wrong - ninja looting is not allowed when an agreement is correctly communicated before the start of an instance.

Our DPS paladin (which was prot spec for some reason) rolls Need and wins it over our healer.
Those pants are really good for both Tanking and Dps paladins, you idiot.

He didn't Ninja anything, you set up a Group Loot and he simply rolled Need on an item that was an upgrade for him.

Really embarrassing post, delete this.

He continuesly denied that its tank pants and started insulting+ tried to start a public witch hunt on forums. This is reason enough to not invite this people to your partys ruining your fun. Also they disbanded the party wich is rude af to the other people in party because they lost a roll on loot. Idc. Sad they dont play on pvp server, id get em camped. He had his chance to change stance instead he tried shift focus to GM instead of admitting his mistake.

Well, if anything: It's kinda nice seeing some activity on these usually barren forums. A bit more sociable than the World Chat ingame.
There is always a story to be told, in the heart of the soul.

You seem to be lacking in some cognitive capacity, so I'll address some of your repeatedly incorrect or untrue statements:
- I did not lose a roll, I am a warrior. I am reporting on this BS because it is unfair.
- The main problem isn't that the healer was robbed, the problem is that apparently you need to have a "previous agreement" not to ninja, confirmed by a GM, otherwise rolling for ANYTHING is a "player dispute".
- I'm willing to meet people in the middle and say it's a caster DPS shaman item, EVEN THEN, based on its stats, it should've gone to the healer without a doubt, because every other DPS wore cloth.
- The goalpost has been moved so many times it no longer resembles any sort of sense, the first argument is that it COULD be used by some prot paladins, once I showed that he is rolling with that as an excuse while fulfilling a DPS role, it suddenly became an all spec paladin item? LOL Guess mages gotta start looking out for all the ret/prot paladins needing on their cloth BIS.
- The party agreed on the aforementioned fact, and not only I but everyone else disbanded the party, I was one of the last to leave.
- How very funny of you to accuse me of trying to start a witch hunt when you said this:
Knifewrench wrote: Thu Aug 27, 2026 5:42 pm tbh ur whole shitguild should be server blacklisted because u guys cant be trusted.
And this
Knifewrench wrote: Thu Aug 27, 2026 6:01 pm Its a warrior that made the post he is freinds with the healer and mage and they all refused to continue the run after healer rudely needed on a item for not his spec and lost the roll, blacklist the whole shitter guild.

Again, the pants are irrelevant. We have TWO GMs admitting that you can roll on anything you can use, and it will be just labeled "player dispute" if someone reports you.
Once again, just for you, TWO GAME MASTERS have confirmed that you can roll on anything you can use. If you get reported, it will be labeled a PLAYER DISPUTE.

Would all of you agree if this item was Cloth instead of Mail?
Would all of you agree if a healer took a 2H sword with Strength because they can also incorporate damage into their rotation?
Hypocrisy...

At best, you're speaking nonsense. At worst, you're arguing in bad faith. At the very worst, I am arguing with some rudimentary AI, which I am beginning to suspect.

TL;DR If you're a cloth, leather, or mail caster... Look out for Retri / Prot paladins because according to these people, they should roll need as much as you. And if you wish to complain to a GM, you're out of luck, because that is a player dispute that should've been agreed on beforehand, before you got robbed.

And also Knifewrench is a cuckold lapdog.

This isn’t ninja looting. These pants can actually be used by dps paladin or tank paladin, or even a healing paladin.

This is leveling gear also.

GMs would never call this ninja looting because there is zero basis for this to be considered ninja looting. There is not a single way you can prove this was ninja looting, because the item is strong for the class and spec that rolled on it.

I can’t believe you guys disbanded a group over this. A bunch of crybabies because your friend lost the roll, and then you came to the forums on top of that?

You guys/girls need to seriously reevaluate what you are truly arguing, and maybe educate yourself on classes in the game.

These actions can only be explained as low IQ or trolling.

The accusation of Ninja looting and the subsequent bad action from the GM is ONLY valid if you believe those pants AREN'T a retri/prot paladin item.

Your whole complaint falls the minute you realise the paladin had every right to roll on it.

That's NOT meeting anyone in the middle, that's you being unable to accept that it's a prot/retri paladin item.
I played a prot paladin on Turtle and these legs were so good I didn't replace then until like lvl 50.

Because if you did accept that it is a prot/retri paladin item, your whole argument would fall apart.

Suddenly no ninjaing took place, suddenly no GM did anything immoral.

Your main problem is you aren't able to admit you were incorrect about the itemisation of Turtle wow.

This whole thread is embarrassing. You are embarrassing.

Incorrect. You’re purposely ignoring the screenshot of the GM admitting that anyone can need on anything they want, regardless of whether it’s an upgrade for them or not. That is the problem, and it’s something EVERYONE who is against this post keeps intentionally ignoring, choosing instead to focus on the pants when they literally don't matter when it comes to what the GM confirmed about needing in dungeons.

That’s what you should be embarrassed about, honestly.
