Let’s be frank - the only good thing a paladin can do in vanilla is heal. Sure, with the right setup you can do decent tanking or decent dps, but it still doesn’t all quite come together. A lot of the potential and uniqueness to the class has always attracted people to it, but that was progressively lost over time in retail post-vanilla. We believe there is a lot of opportunity to help the Paladin perform more than just healing adequately without making them too powerful or “warrior-lite.”
Learned at Level: 4, eight ranks up to level 60
Cooldown: 6 sec
Strike the target for a percentage of weapon damage as Holy damage, restoring health
and mana to you and nearby allies. Costs very little: 5 mana at Rank 1, 90 at
Rank 8.
Learned at Level: 10, five ranks at 10 / 22 / 34 / 46 / 58
A strike that damages the target and increases the Holy damage it takes, stacking up to
5 times for 30 sec.
Learned at Level: 10
Cooldown: 10 sec
Taunts the target to attack you. Has no effect if the target is already attacking you.
Increases your attack and casting speed. Driven by the Retribution talent Vengeful Strikes, which makes each stack hit harder.
Beyond the Warhorse and Charger, Paladins here can summon the Argent Charger, Scarlet Charger, Scarlet Warhorse, Thalassian Charger and Thalassian Warhorse.
★
Judgement Duration
Your auto-attack swings refresh your own Judgement debuff on the target: any
swing that lands for damage resets its timer, so a Judgement stays up as long
as you keep hitting. Crusader Strike and Holy Strike go further and refresh
every Paladin's Judgement on that target, not only your own.
★
Consecration
Baseline from level 20. Rank 5 costs 205 mana, and its damage wanes as the effect
runs rather than ticking evenly.
★
Holy Shock
Four ranks, and casting it has a chance to leave its next cast with no cooldown.
★
Flash of Light and
Seal of Wisdom
Flash of Light gains a seventh rank at level 60; Seal of Wisdom has five ranks.
★
Blessing of Light
Also increases the effect of Holy Shock on the target, not just Holy Light and Flash of
Light.
★
Exorcism
Generates reduced threat.
★
Hand of Freedom and
Hand of Protection
Named as Hands rather than Blessings, so they do not clash with the
one-Blessing-per-target rule in players' heads.
★
Blessing of Sanctuary
Reduces damage taken from all sources.
★
Daybreak
Row 7, 1 Rank: new capstone
Critically healing an ally applies Daybreak. When that ally next takes damage, Daybreak
is consumed to heal them.

Blessed Strikes
Row 6, 5 Ranks: new
Crusader Strike has a chance to reset your Holy Shock cooldown, and Holy Strike's
healing is increased and scales with your healing power. This is what makes a melee
Holy build work.
★
Ironclad
Row 4, 2 Ranks: new
Increases your healing based on your armor from items.
★
Holy Judgement
Row 2, 3 Ranks: new
Casting Judgement reduces the cast time of your next Holy Light.

★
Bulwark of the Righteous
Row 7, 1 Rank: new capstone, three ranks of the ability
Bash the target with your shield for Holy damage and reduce the damage you take for a
duration: an active mitigation button for Protection.
★
Righteous Strikes
Row 6, 5 Ranks: replaces One-Handed Weapon Specialization
Increases Holy Strike's threat and damage, and Crusader Strike grants Zealous Defense so
your next block absorbs more.
★
Righteous Defense
Row 5, 3 Ranks: new
Reduces the damage you take while Righteous Fury is active.
★
Improved Hand of Reckoning
Row 4, 2 Ranks: new
Improves your chance to hit with Hand of Reckoning, so your taunt lands.

Redoubt
Procs from any successful melee or ranged attack against
you.
★
Reckoning
Procs after you block.

Holy Shield
Row 7 → Row 5
Its damage generates 50% additional threat.

5 sec.
★
Precision
Increases your chance to hit with spells as well as melee attacks.
★
Blessing of Sanctuary
