HC Death Appeal Rules

Keep an eye out for a new poll on death appeals SOONtm

All appeals must now include a clear and sufficient recording of the death. This includes Crash/DC deaths.

Appeals granted where a recording is not present are not guaranteed to be revived, even where it is obvious from the logs that the player died to a bug or network wide disconnect. The only exception to this will be large scale server wide incidents (like a DDoS).

No appeals under level 20.

The following are valid appeal reasons:

  • Died to a bug.
  • Died to a crash where it is obvious that there was no immediate threat to warrant a forced crash.
  • Died to a DC of any sort where it is obvious that there was no immediate threat to warrant a forced DC.
  • Died to blatantly intentional and recorded or heavily documented dungeon-wide or raid-wide griefing.

Note: Being in warmode means you are in immediate threat anywhere outside of instances.
